Experience.
Adrianne Brakefield is a paralegal who uses her intellectual abilities, high energy, and dedication to assist both the transactional and litigation departments. A cum laude graduate from Kent State University, she obtained a Master’s degree in political science from George Mason University. She has previously served as an NGO adviser in Peace Corps Romania during which she collaborated with business leaders, community officials, and residents; and as a committee member reviewing and rewarding USAID grants.
Adrianne assists the transactional team with all aspects of the corporate and real estate practice including the coordination of closings, managing corporate filings and recordkeeping. She also provides important support to the firm’s trial practice group during discovery and trials. Adrianne is always eager to expand her knowledge and horizons.
Passion.
Adrianne approaches all tasks large and small whether in trial or a corporate or real estate transaction with the same high energy, intellect and dedication. Adrianne can be found reading up on a brief or attending a seminar on Delaware business rules to further her understanding of the law and assist clients effectively.
Outside of the office Adrianne is always on the go. As a Peace Corps volunteer she was instrumental in overseeing the construction of a playground; then went on a week long hike to the summit of the Carpathians. She loves exploring the D.C. metropolitan area for good day hikes and other outdoor activities.
Solutions.
Adrianne is dedicated to helping others and knows that her timely and accurate ability to complete projects leads to better solutions for the firm’s clients. Adrianne knows that organization is a key tenant of efficiency and accordingly is fastidious about keeping files and closing binders up-to-date so that attorneys can readily access the information they need to be successful.
