Ashleigh Mcfadden is a paralegal in the firm’s Real Estate and Business groups. She has more than 15 years of experience working in metro Washington, D.C.-based law firms as a commercial real estate paralegal. She has a diverse range of experience with lenders, sellers and buyers, handling all aspects of transactional commercial real estate projects.

This experience includes working with public housing authorities such as the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), developers and financial institutions.

Ashleigh often looks at a real estate deal as a jigsaw puzzle. There are so many pieces to a deal, similar to the many pieces of a puzzle. She views her job as an opportunity to figure out how to put the pieces together in just the right way, showing the big picture.

She is also meticulous regarding the research elements of each transaction. Like her job in logistics for the U.S. Army, real estate deals require a balance of skill, knowledge and experience.

A detail-oriented person, Ashleigh looks forward to researching title documents and reviewing surveys to ensure that all details relating to a property are correct and current. She is totally committed to ensuring that transactional and related documents and records are without error so deals proceed seamlessly for the firm’s clients.
