Judah Lifschitz Named to 2017 Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers ‘Top 100' List

Lifschitz is a veteran trial attorney having tried cases to verdict in virtually every type of adjudicative forum – state and federal bench and jury trials, and arbitrations and Boards of Contract Appeals. In addition to general civil litigation, he has extensive experience in construction related matters, including significant experience in power and energy construction representing clients with regard to EPC contracts as well as disputes. Lifschitz represents governmental and private owners, regional, national and international contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, design professionals, sureties and insurance companies in disputes, trials, ADR proceedings and negotiations.

Recently, Lifschitz was lead trial counsel in the Silver Spring Transit Center litigation, a case which garnered much attention in the local and national press. After three weeks of trial Lifschitz’ client Foulger-Pratt Contracting LLC which was being sued for millions of dollars the plaintiff Montgomery County, Maryland agreed to pay Foulger-Pratt $3 million in settlement of all claims against and between Foulger Pratt and the County. Foulger-Pratt served as the general contractor for the 90-million-dollar project.
