Ronald S. Shapiro concentrates on all types of business transactions for individual and corporate clients, with particular emphasis on matters involving real estate. He represents real estate developers and investors, including foreign individuals and institutions, in sophisticated transactions throughout the Washington, D.C. area. He has represented local and national banks and credit companies in all types of secured and unsecured financings, such as acquisitions, development and construction loans, permanent loans, asset-based financings, ground lease financings and joint venture financings. Mr. Shapiro also has experience in major debt restructurings, representing both borrowers and lenders.
A life-long resident of the Washington, D.C. area, Mr. Shapiro frequently draws upon his knowledge of the region, his extensive contacts in the community and his experience to provide business as well as legal guidance to his clients.
Ronald S. Shapiro is a member of the District of Columbia Bar. He is a 1972 honors graduate of the George Washington University Law School and received his B.A. in accounting in 1969 from the University of Maryland.
