Judah Lifschitz concentrates on trial practice. He has extensive experience in construction-related matters, having represented governmental and private owners, regional, national and international contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, design professionals, sureties and insurance companies in disputes, trials, ADR proceedings and negotiations. Mr. Lifschitz has published and lectured extensively on construction and government contracts topics. He is on the faculty (construction law) of the Washington College of Law of American University. Mr. Lifschitz also represents clients in complex commercial litigation where he has considerable experience in shareholder/partnership disputes and general commercial disputes and has represented clients in fraud investigations. In addition to construction, Mr. Lifschitz represents clients in a variety of industries, including aerospace, electronics, manufacturing and shipbuilding and on a variety of government procurement issues including bid protests claims and fraud investigations.
Judah Lifschitz is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland Bars and is admitted to practice before various federal courts across the country, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. He has tried cases and handled matters in mediation and ADR proceedings across the country. He is a graduate of the George Washington University Law School, and received his B.A., magna cum laude, in 1974 from Yeshiva College. In addition to authoring many legal publications, Mr. Lifschitz has also published three books, Heaven Sent - Stories of Faith and Effort, Targum/Feldheim, 1977, Stories for Shauli, Targum/Feldheim, 1999 and The Klausenberger Rebbe, The War Years, Targum/Feldheim, 2003.
