Reed P. Sexter practices in all areas of commercial real estate and general business transactional law. From 1998-2002, Mr. Sexter was an associate in the Real Estate and Finance Practice Group in the D.C. office of a large, national law firm. Mr. Sexter has extensive real estate experience in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and focuses his practice on retail and commercial office leasing for landlords and tenants, real estate finance, including acquisition, construction and permanent lending for lenders and borrowers, real estate development, and the acquisition and disposition of all types of commercial real estate projects, including hotels, shopping centers, office buildings and multi-family residential properties. From 1994-1998, Mr. Sexter was an associate in the Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Group of a large D.C. based law firm. From 1992-1994, Mr. Sexter clerked for the Honorable Paul Mannes, former Chief Judge of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Maryland. Mr. Sexter is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia and New York.
Mr. Sexter received his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 1992 where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Hofstra University School of Law Labor Law Journal. Mr. Sexter received his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1989.
