Ms. Stewart has served as general corporate counsel to private and public companies in all aspects of their businesses, including, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, restructurings, contracts, joint ventures and general governance matters. She has been involved in all phases of these transactions, including initial planning, negotiation and implementation. From 1997-1999, Ms. Stewart was associated with the Tax/Corporate Group of Steptoe & Johnson, LLP. From 1999-2003, Ms. Stewart was associated with the Corporate Group at Shaw Pittman, LLP. Ms. Stewart was a contract attorney for Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Los Angeles in early 2004 and for Morrison & Foerster, LLP in late 2004 - early 2005. From April 2005 - June 2006 Ms. Stewart was associated with the Real Estate Practice Group of Friedlander, Misler, Sloan, Kletzkin & Ochsman, PLLC. Ms. Stewart has been associated with SLS since June 2006.

Elizabeth A. Stewart received her J.D. from the Columbia Law School in 1997. She received her B.A. in 1994 from Columbia College. She is a member of the Maryland, District of Columbia, New York and California Bars.
