A second-generation lawyer, Judah (Judd) Lifschitz is co-president of Shapiro Lifschitz and Schram PC in Washington, D.C., a firm that he helped establish 22 years ago. He’s a veteran trial attorney, having tried cases to verdict in virtually every type of adjudicative forum. Lifschitz has extensive knowledge of construction-related matters with particular experience in power industry construction claims. His trial experience includes winning one of the largest liquidated damages awards in the history of the construction industry.

Judah Lifschitz has again been selected as a member of the Trial Academy Faculty for the Forum on the Construction Industry sponsored by the American Bar Association. Steve Schram recently closed a transaction involving the sale of a Rockville, Maryland based technology-related company to an affiliate of a publicly traded company.  The $12 million transaction (possibly $30 million) spanned many months, involved a large number of principals and lawyers on both sides, presented many challenges, and required creative thinking to work through many complicated issues.  Ultimately, the fact that the sale closed is a testament to hard work, team work, and long hours.
