About the Honorees:

Dedication to community was a value imbued in the homes in which Marilyn and Judah Lifschitz were raised. From a very young age, they were taught examples by their parents of how important it is to make a real difference in the lives of others. This commitment to making an impact on others has been a core focus of their lives together and has expressed itself in their many communal activities, especially in their combined efforts on behalf of Sulam.

With Judd as principal and co-president of Shapiro, Lifschitz and Schram, and Marilyn as the Director of Financial Operations at Sulam, together they were instrumental in the founding of Sulam and have been a devoted team working on behalf of the organization and its students for over 20 years.
