Shapiro, Lifschitz & Schram Expands With Addition of Sandra Buchko

WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb. 10, 2022 – Shapiro, Lifschitz & Schram is pleased to announce the addition of attorney, Sandra D. Buchko, who counsels clients involved in real estate transactions, including landlord and tenant office and retail leasing matters, acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties, hospitality, financing and related corporate matters.

Schram, principal and co-president of Shapiro, Lifschitz & Schram. “Her corporate background and experience representing national and international shopping center developers and tenants in leasing transactions broadens our legal services and enhances our commitment to client service.”

Buchko advises public, private for profit and non-profit clients on office and retail, bank, hotel, assisted living, multifamily and charter school real estate acquisition and disposition transactions. She represents clients on a wide range of single asset and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions that have included multi-state hotel and assisted living portfolios, urban and suburban office buildings, bank and retail pad sites, strip and enclosed mall shopping centers and charter schools. Buchko also represents clients in like-kind exchanges and financing matters related to real estate assets, including multi-family, office and retail centers.

She serves as a board member and investment committee member with Building Hope, an area representative for the Virginia Board of Governors, Real Property section and an Awards Committee member with NAIOP – Virginia.

Buchko earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her law degree from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
