According to a redevelopment plan announced earlier this week, Lerner Enterprises and The Tower Cos. plan to redevelop the existing three-level, 30-year old White Flint Mall on the Rockville Pike (currently home to stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Gap, Dave & Buster's, and others). The plan will replace it with an "outdoor town”. Plans include 5.2 million sq ft of building (including three office buildings, retail, residential units, and a 300-room hotel). According to Gazette.net., Lerner expects to file a sketch plan next month and the entire project is expected to take more than 25 years to complete.
